Zillion is a 2010 sci-fi film directed by David Twohy and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson as a group of teenage warriors called the White Knights.

PlotEdit

The story takes place on the planet Maris in the year 2387. Around this time, the Nozas started to genocidally kill all humans in order to lay eggs and reproduce on the planet. Three mysterious guns dubbed the "Zillion Weapon System" appear and three teens (JJ, Champ, and Apple) are chosen to wield them as the White Knights in order to fight back against the Nozas.

  • While Universal and MGM both distributed the film, MGM was the only company credited out of the two in the opening credits. Interestingly, their logo only appears at the end, while Universal's logo appears at the start of the film.
  • The film features a cameo by Mark Wahlberg as a minor Noza that Apple guns down.
  • Based on episodes 1-5 of the anime Zillion.
  • Called "Zillion: The Beginning" internationally.
  • MGM owns the television rights, while Universal holds theatrical and home video rights.

The premiere took place at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The film was released on April 16, 2010. The film is rated PG "for sci-fi violence and some language". The home video release is scheduled for August 18, 2010.
