Negima!? Neo is a 2010 web series adapted from the manga of the same name by and starring Emma Watson (who also wrote the intros and outros for each episode).

Each episode follows the same template:

  • 1990-A Public TV For East Tennessee ident
  • The News-Sentinel tag
  • 1988 WNET New York ident
  • Funding credits
  • Opening titles
  • Brief monologue by Asuna Kagurazaka, who pulls out a Beta tape containing events in Negi's life that she only received due to being complicit with his secret life and inserts it into her Betamax machine
  • The episode proper
  • Discussion by Asuna about the episode
  • Closing credits
  • 1990 Buena Vista Television Distribution logo
  • Funding credits
  • 1989 PBS ident
  • The News-Sentinel tag

  • The song playing during the opening and closing credits is "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC.
  • Like its motion picture and television companions, this series is shot entirely in 3D.
  • Since season 3 of Negima!, it's been customary for Makie and Anya to be played by young boys. This custom is carried over to this web series.
  • As with the main continuity (the movie and TV series), Betamax is still a favorite home video format for Mahora students, with some, including Asuna, exclusively using that format.
  • Some episodes are preceded by a combination of the few-seconds version of the PBS "Come See the Light" promo and the abridged 1990-A Public TV For East Tennessee ident.
  • When the library is shown, there's always a shot of the extensive Betamax, VHS, and Video 2000 library in NTSC, PAL, and SECAM formats.
