Fresh Pretty Cure! Step♥Up is a sequel to the Fresh Pretty Cure anime based on the fanfic by spinflowers. American companies Walt Disney Television and Carolco Pictures produce the series in association with WGBH Boston and uses a similar art style to the first season.

PlotEdit

The calm, peaceful lifestyle of the Sweets Kingdom after Pretty Cure's defeat of Moebius has suddenly been interrupted again. It's discovered that Moebius secretly created a second computer, much more advanced than himself, and it has now activated itself and started attempting to reestablish his empire. Moreover, something is happening to the Clover Box, and Chiffon looks to be acting strangely as a result. Feeling a sense of responsibility as her caretaker, Tarte decides to follow her to where she seems to want to go. He's lead to the Pretty Cure Forest, when the box starts playing an unfamiliar melody on its own, and an overwhelming green light from Chiffon's forehead consumes them both...

Meanwhile, Setsuna has once again come to Clover Town Street to visit her friends, and the four are happily chatting over doughnuts together...when they see an abrupt flash of light from nearby. They're shocked to find a young girl and an older boy, both unconscious. And then when the girl wakes up, she sure seems a lot like...Chiffon? Is that you?! But she's so much older!! And Tarte?! What on earth is going on?!

Before they can even begin to understand everything, a new enemy appears and attacks them! Suddenly Chiffon's head shines again, changing the Pickruns and giving the girls new powers! Now facing new foes and new challenges, what will be in store for our heroines? And with the Clover Box continuing to evolve, what will happen to Chiffon?! It's a sweet and happy Step♥Up!!
