Fire Emblem is a film by director Paul Verhoeven based on the first game in the Fire Emblem franchise. Originally conceived as one film, it is set to be released in two separate volumes (in 2010 and 2011) due to its running time of over five hours. The movie is a fantasy epic, with an extensive use of popular music. Filming took place at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, England and in Verhoeven's home country of The Netherlands.

CastEdit

Daniel Radcliffe as Prince Marth and Emma Watson as Princess Caeda are the male and female leads, respectively. Other major players include Ryan Gosling, Lex Lang, Drew Barrymore, Lee Ving, and Ian McDiarmid.

SoundtrackEdit

The soundtrack, Fire Emblem: Songs From the Motion Pictures, is set to be released in November of 2010 as an quad-vinyl release, a double-cassette release, and a double-CD release. The first two vinyls, the first cassette, and the first CD include material included in Fire Emblem Vol. 1, while the last two vinyls, the second cassette, and the second CD include material included in Fire Emblem Vol. 2.
